How I keep white baseball pants crisp and white

Simply washing baseball pants just does not keep them looking fresh, crisp and white. I tried a product recently and I absolutely LOVE it! I want to share it with all baseball/softball moms. It’s called OUT White Brite Laundry Whitener. I soak the pants immediately after a game for 20 minutes in the washer using warm water and 1/2 cup of White Brite. You can soak the pants in a bucket filled with a gallon of warm water and the White Brite if you prefer. It’s easier for me to soak in the washer. After 20 minutes, I add laundry detergent to the washer and wash on regular cycle. If some dirt is still on the pants after washing, I spray with OxiClean Stain remover and gently rub the material together and wash again. The pants come out clean, white and no stains! Please read the labels of all stain removers. The White Brite label says do not use with oxi products. That’s why I use the OxiClean after washing. I will say that I don’t need to use the OxiClean and wash a second time if I can get the pants soaking quickly. It seems the longer I wait the tougher the stain is. But, I expect that to be the case. The colored pipe on the pants has not been discolored at all by the product. However, you may want to test an area before you try it on any color other than white.
